TRIVUM Are 'Extremely Honored' To Be Given Opportunity To Tour With IRON MAIDEN

TRIVIUM frontman Matt Heafy has issued a statement regarding the band's upcoming European tour as the support act for IRON MAIDEN. Heafy says, "TRIVIUM is extremely honored to be given the opportunity to tour with the legendary IRON MAIDEN — arguably the greatest metal band of all time. MAIDEN has influenced many bands, including TRIVIUM, with their music — a mix of sheer power and melody, and also with their amazing stage productions. A few words to express our band's mutual reaction... Holy fuck, we're touring with IRON MAIDEN!!!!"

TRIVIUM will be opening for IRON MAIDEN on the following shows:

Nov. 12 - Tampere, FIN @ Icehall
Nov. 14 - Helsinki, FIN @ Hartwall arena
Nov. 15 - Helsinki, FIN @ Hartwall arena
Nov. 17 - Stockholm, SWE @ Globen
Nov. 18 - Stockholm, SWE @ Globen
Nov. 20 - Gothenburg, SWE @ Scandinavium
Nov. 21 - Oslo, NOR @ Valhalla
Nov. 23 - Bergen, NOR @ Vestlandshallen

As previously reported, TRIVIUM have been confirmed to play — alongside GUNS N' ROSES, METALLICA, KORN, THE PRODIGY, DEFTONES, CLUTCH, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, LUCUNA COIL, INME, HATEBREED and WITHIN TEMPTATION — at this year's Download Festival, set to take place June 9-11 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England.
