TRIVIUM filmed a video for the song "The Rising" last month with directors Artifical Army in the Los Angeles area. According to a casting call sheet, the concept for the video is "a technological assault on the world told through the eyes and shadows of youth, nature, war, and disaster."

MACHINE HEAD's latest CD, "The Blackening", has registered the following first-week chart positions in Europe: Germany: #12; UK: #16; Ireland: #23; Netherlands: #29; and France: #49. The CD was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA, with MACHINE HEAD frontman Robert Flynn returning to the producer's chair, and Mark Keaton once again handling engineering duties.
