TRASHLIGHT VISION Signs With ROCK RIDGE MUSIC

May 1, 2007

New York City-based four-piece TRASHLIGHT VISION, which bills itself as "sleazy trash/punk rock 'n' roll," has signed with Rock Ridge Music and will release its album, "Alibis and Ammunition", nationally on July 10. The CD features 12 tracks of turbo-charged rock that is both uncompromising and in-your-face. The first single, "Allergic to You", will ship to radio in early June.

Formed in 2004 by former MURDERDOLLS member Acey Slade, the band boasts a GUNS N' ROSES-meets-MISFITS vibe, and it is driven to bring New York City-style punk rock back to the forefront.

Regarding the signing, Slade commented, "Finally, a label that is brave enough to infect America with Trash rock! We are proud to have the Rock Ridge team with us in our quest to bring dirty, gritty, punk rock to the place it was born — the US of A!"

Says Rock Ridge Music A&R Manager Ben Miller: "TRASHLIGHT VISION's dirty sound combines everything mean and gritty about punk and hard rock. Their high-energy shows keep you begging for more but almost glad when it's over so you can look away and not worry about missing anything."

Prior to signing with Rock Ridge, TRASHLIGHT VISION had already completed three U.K. tours on their own and with no label support. They have played on three continents (Asia, Europe and North America),and shared the stage with everyone from BACKYARD BABIES to THE BUZZCOCKS. As a band embracing the DIY approach, they screen-print their own merch and flyer their own shows.

TRASHLIGHT VISION is:

Acey Slade (vocals, guitar)
Steve Haley (guitar)
Roger "Rags" Segal (bass)
Len Thomas (drums)
