TRASHLIGHT VISION Seeks New Drummer

April 26, 2007

TRASHLIGHT VISION, the band featuring featuring former MURDERDOLLS guitarist Acey Slade, will audition drummers on May 12 in New York City. According to the group, "The ideal drummer would be influenced by Bret Reed, Chuck Biscuits, Adam Carson, Clem Burke, Dave Grohl, Tommy Lee, and Shannon Larkin. TRASHLIGHT VISION's influences are: THE RAMONES, DEAD KENNEDYS, GUNS N' ROSES, THE DAMNED, old MÖTLEY CRÜE, BOWIE, AGENT ORANGE, THE CULT, THE BRIEFS, MISFITS, SOCIAL D., THE WILDHEARTS, THE BRONX, and REFUSED. In short, we are the punk band the rockers can drink to or the rock band that punks can slam to. A visual drummer, with chops, gear, and a good fuckin' attitude a must! Interested parties should NOT contact the band members, but instead leave a message on the band's MySpace page with the subject 'Drummer'. During this timeframe, TRASHLIGHT VISION will not be missing the two U.S. shows previously booked, or the U.K. tour already booked, and would like their fans to know that they are alive, kicking, and still rockin' like fuck!"

TRASHLIGHT VISION currently has deals in place in the U.S., Japan, and Europe and will record its sophomore effort soon with producer Daniel Rey (MISFITS, RAMONES, D-GENERATION, HELLACOPTERS).

TRASHLIGHT VISION released its first album, titled "Alibis and Ammunition", in the U.S. in November via indie label EVO Recordings.
