April 19, 2013

Reunited Swedish heavy rockers TRANSPORT LEAGUE will release their new album, "Boogie From Hell", digitally on May 20 via frontman Tony Jelencovich's (DEATHDESTRUCTION, B-THONG, MASSIVE AUDIO NERVE, MNEMIC, ICON IN ME) Hoffa Entertainment. A physical CD will also be printed for release through the Bengans record store.

"Boogie From Hell" was tracked over a 17-month period and is currently being mixed by Svein Jensen at Grand Recordings in Gothenburg, Sweden.

A CD-release party is scheduled for Friday, May 24 at Sticky Fingers Bar & Grill in Gothenburg and an appearance at the Tuska festival afterparty in Helsinki, Finland is also scheduled for June 29.

"Boogie From Hell" will feature the following songs:

* Swing Satanic Swing
* Electric Wolf
* Hi-Octane Slave
* Demon Apparatus
* Barabbas Venomous
* A Pork Named Jack
* Blood Inn
* Doctor Demon
* Holy Mother Fucker
* Speedhead

A seven-minute audio file containing snippets of five songs that will appear on "Boogie From Hell" can be streamed using the SoundCloud widget below.

The CD's sound is described in a press release as "groovy, shaky-boogie-rock 'n' roll metal … for the fans of CLUTCH, CATHEDRAL, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, MUSTASCH and even VOLBEAT."

TRANSPORT LEAGUE played its first reunion show on May 15, 2009 on the Terass stage at Henriksberg in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Commented the group: "TRANSPORT LEAGUE was the band who invented the phrase 'boogie from hell,' well known and well heard on the two first albums, 'Stallion Showcase' (1995) and 'Superevil' (1997). Just listen to tracks such as 'Cosmical Satanical' and 'Lost In The Desert Of Habib' and you will understand what we are talking about.

"TRANSPORT LEAGUE no doubt paved the way for such artists as VOLBEAT and MUSTASCH, drawing from many sources to create a new format for heavy guitar-driven groovy rock."

TRANSPORT LEAGUE's fourth full-length album, "Multiple Organ Harvest", was released in November 2003 through Holland's Seamview Records.

TRANSPORT LEAGUE 2013 is:

Tony Julien Jelencovich - Vocals, Guitar
Lars Häglund - Bass
Matt Starander - Drums
Pete Hunyadi - Lead Guitar
