February 22, 2007

Swedish death metallers TORN APART have inked a deal with the Spanish label Pathologically Explicit Recordings, a sub-label of Grotesque Productions. Pathologically Explicit will release the band's mini-CD, entitled "Craving Pale Flesh". A release date is not offically announced but the label has stated that they hope to issue it in April.

TORN APART was formed in early 2005 in Umeå, Sweden by David Eliasson (guitar),Mikael Sandström (guitar) and Alexander Wegebro (drums). The band played together from June to August 2005 before asking Petter Johansson (bass) to join the group. Shortly after, Christoffer Långström (vocals) joined and the lineup was complete. Before recording their first demo they played numerous shows, including the Umeå Metal Open Air Fest. They have also played alongside such artists as DISMEMBER, DRÖNG, LETHAL and many others.
