TOMMY THAYER, ALICE COOPER At 'Kraft Nabisco Championship' Golf Tournament; Photos Available

April 4, 2011

KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer and legendary rocker Alice Cooper were among the more than 40 stars from sports, movies and television that played at the Kraft Nabisco Championship's celebrity pro-am tournament, which took place from March 28 to April 3 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. Also appearing at the event were actor Craig T. Nelson, baseball Hall-of-Famer Johnny Bench, Dennis Haysbert of "24" and the Allstate commercials, comedian Richard Kind, actor Joe Pesci and actor Ray Romano.

Commented Thayer: "Alice Cooper was kind enough to get me into the event, which included a Monday-night party where we turned up the volume and jammed with the local band. Went to dinner at one of my favorite nightspots, The Nest, and ended up running into my buddy George Lopez, who was holding court with the locals. Of course my lovely wife Amber was there enjoying the good times by my side. Not a bad week at all."

Check out photos from the event at Thayer's official web site.

This was the 40th year of the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
