TOMMY LEE: Caught In A Mash?

Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has told The Miami Herald that he is "over" hip-hop, explaining his fondness for a movement called "mashing," in which rock 'n' roll is infused with some dance beats so that "the dudes who love rock and the chicks who love dance will come together in an explosive way."

As previously reported, Lee is currently collaborating with DJ Aero on a project with "a beat-bending" sound that echoes Electronica, SNOOP DOG, LIL' KIM, GEORGE CLINTON and "ill sounds" that juggle Tommy on drums and DJ Aero mixing hip-hop in between.
