TOMMY LEE Catches Acting Bug: 'I'm Having A Fucking Blast'

March 8, 2003

Seems that former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has caught the acting bug. In a March 7 online journal entry at www.joysmayhem.com, Lee writes, "Man... I'm having a fucking blast!!… I think I love this acting stuff!!... I'm filming all this week on the TV show 'Fastlane' I play a tweaker on meth!! The show is unreal... Tons of chicks, guns, cars, explosions, etc. I'll get the airdate soon... sometime in April!! Also... I'm starting a new yummy ladies lingerie line Too!! Gonna be nasty and classy!... Well, not too classy :)"

TOMMY LEE's solo band are currently on an indefinite hiatus as they sort out a new record deal following their split with MCA Records last year. Lee is believed to have already demoed several new songs at his home studio, Tommyland, for possible inclusion on the upcoming CD, which is unlikely to surface before the end of the year at the earliest.
