TO/DIE/FOR Complete Work On New Album

December 6, 2004

Finnish goth-metallers TO/DIE/FOR have set "IV" as the title of their fourth album, due on March 16, 2005 via Spinefarm Records. A single will precede the album on February 17.

The follow-up to 2003's "Jaded" was recorded at Sonicimage studios in Kouvola, Finland and was mixed at Finnvox studios in Helsinki with Mikko Karmila. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The World is Made for Me", "Lies (for Fools)", "Fragmented", "No Turning Back", "Autumn Forever", "Last Breath" (the outro),"Endlessly", "New Year's Day" (U2 cover),"Chaotic Me", "Little Deaths" and "Live in You" (acoustic).

The current TO/DIE/FOR lineup once again features vocalist Jarno "Jape" Perätalo, who allegedly decided to reclaim the T/D/F name for his TIAGA project after being offered a record deal by Spinefarm Records. Joining Perätalo in the new TO/DIE/FOR formation are guitarist Juppe "J.P." Sutela, ex-NEW DAWN FOUNDATION drummer/ex-TO/DIE/FOR drum tech Santtu Lonka, guitarist Mika "Alli" Ahtiainen, ex-H.I.M./ NEW DAWN FOUNDATION keyboardist Juska Salminen, and bassist Jarkko "Josey" Strandmann (ex-NEW DAWN FOUNDATION).
