TNT Singer: New Material 'Rocks Like You Wouldn't Believe'

October 13, 2006

Vocalist Tony Mills (ex-SHY) of the Norwegian/British hard rockers TNT has issued the following update on the songwriting process for the group's new album:

"Just a note of reassurance. I'm sitting over here in the studio in Birmingham working on a track for the new TNT album. Without actually playing you the song (because it isn't finished yet anyway) all I can say is it rocks like you wouldn't believe! Have faith, this is still a killing machine as far as rock bands go and we're determined to make sure it stays that way. We are aware of all the doubts, fears and indeed all the positivity as well and there will always be these things as long as everyone is entitled to voice their opinion.

"We shall be working throughout the winter on the new album and we'll have the conversations about soundclips for the new album on the site when the time is right (and the sound so we'll keep you posted about that. For the time being, it's back to the microphone..."

Mills joined TNT as the replacement for longtime singer Tony Harnell, who left the group in April.

Harnell's final release as a member of TNT was the "Live in Madrid" DVD, which came out in September via MTM Music. The set, which was filmed on April 1, 2006 in Madrid, Spain, was accompanied by an 82-minute audio CD plus booklet liner notes from Harnell about his work with the group as well as an additional tour documentary by Darren Paltrowitz.
