TIMO TOLKKI To Perform At BOLOGNA GUITAR FESTIVAL

Former STRATOVARIUS and current REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE guitarist Timo Tolkki has announced via his MySpace page that he will perform at the Bologna Guitar Festival on May 15 with a "house band" consisting of bassist Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG),drummer Gregg Bissonette, bassist Neil Murray (WHITESNAKE, BLACK SABBATH, GARY MOORE),guitarist Stef Burns (Y&T) and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER, BILLY IDOL, ALICE COOPER). Vocals will handled by none other than Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH). Other guitarists expected to perform at the event include Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB),Doug Aldrich (DIO, WHITESNAKE),John Sykes (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE),Vivian Campbell (DEF LEPPARD, DIO) and Jennifer Batten (MICHAEL JACKSON).

Bologna Guitar Festival will take place during the Music Italy Show, which will be held in Bologna from May 15 to May 17.
