TIMO TOLKKI Schedules 'Music Beyond Infinity' Workshop Dates

October 8, 2009

Timo Tolkki is one of the most respected guitar players in the heavy rock scene, with sales of 2.5 million records, a Finnish Grammy equivalent and three gold discs with his former band STRATOVARIUS. In Guitar World magazine, Tolkki was ranked the 27th fastest guitar player in the world and placed 84th on the list of the "100 Greatest Metal Guitarists of All Time."

Having played over 2,000 shows around the globe and seen many different cultures, Tolkki has decided to create, due to a growing demand, a "master class music workshop." This event is primarily intended for guitar players but is also suitable for other musicians and people who are interested in music in general as well as those persons who would like to pursue a career in the music business.

During the workshop, Tolkki will discuss his unique view on how music is connected to life and emotions, with the intention of helping the musician express himself better through his instrument... that instrument being guitar, drums, vocals or any other. He will also give an insider's perspective on the music industry and where it is heading, plus share a lot of valuable knowledge from his 25-year career while offering advice to musicians about the dangers that lie within the business. At the end of the workshop, he will answer questions from attendees.
