TIGERTAILZ Confirmed For Italy's VENICE ROCK FESTIVAL

July 1, 2005

TIGERTAILZ, the Welsh band that would prove to be Britain's only real serious contenders in the '80s glam rock stakes, have been confirmed for the Venice Rock Festival, set to take place August 8 in Marghera (Venice),Italy. The concert will be a part of the Cheyenne Nights program.

As previously reported, TIGERTAILZ are currently collaborating with Chris Laney (ZAN CLAN) on additional tracks for their forthcoming album.

The group, who feature original members Steevi Jaimz (vocals) and Ace Finchum (drums),are scheduled to enter the studio in July to begin recording the effort, tentatively due before the end of the year.

In a recent online posting, Steevi wrote, "We've got 25-30 songs that we're running with at the moment. Obviously that'll have to be thinned down to 15 or so. I gotta tell ya this new material is sounding fuckin' killer!!!! We're all really excited about it."

Among the tracks set to appear on the band's upcoming CD is "Little Sister" (co-written by Laney),which Jaimz says is "guaranteed to knock yer dick in the dirt!!!!!!"

TIGERTAILZ's current lineup is completed by former WRAITH guitarist Greg "Gregz" Russell on bass and ex-TATTOOED LOVE BOYS guitarist Darayus Kaye. The group included the track "King of the World" on a Perris Records' "Hollywood Hairspray" compilation.
