Commented the band: "We are really looking forward to this new co-operation and truly believe that NoiseArt Records and Rock The Nation are the right channel for bringing ourmusic to the public and fans in the future."

After 17 years in the band, original member and bassist Kimmy Sjölund recently decided to leave THYRFING. Joakim Kristensson has since taken over the bass duties. The band also welcomed a new drummer, Dennis Ekdahl.

THYRFING in 2007 announced the addition of Jens Rydén as the band's new vocalist. Jens is best known as founding member and ex-vocalist of NAGLFAR and for his one-man army PROFUNDI.
