THUNDERSTONE To Play Special Gig In Helsinki

THUNDERSTONE's concert at On the Rocks in Helsinki, Finland on March 3 will be "a very special show featuring acoustic versions (!) of THUNDERSTONE favorites, rare songs, killer covers and special guests!" according to a posting on the band's web site. "We are planning to make this an annual event, so be there to witness the first ever THUNDERSTONE Hanuri Metal Night!"

As previously reported, THUNDERSTONE's sophomore album, "The Burning", entered the Finnish Album chart at position No. 17 upon its release last month.

The follow-up to last year's "Thunderstone" was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki with producer/guitarist Nino Laurenne and was mixed at Finnvox Studios with Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM). Included on the CD is a guest appearance by SYMPHONY X guitarist Michael Romeo in the track "Drawn To The Flame".
