THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD To Embark On Month-Long Tour In June

April 4, 2007

South Carolina's THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD will embark on a month-long tour in June acting as direct support to THE RED CHORD. DESPISED ICON, ALL SHALL PERISH and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY will also be on the bill, while GHENGIS TRON will replace SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY on the tour's first three dates.

Currently slated to tour Europe with DEAD TO FALL and ION DISSONANCE in May, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD's dates with THE RED CHORD will mark the group's North American debut with new vocalist Nate Johnson (PREMONITIONS OF WAR, DEADWATER DROWNING). Johnson will also make his recording debut with the band on the forthcoming "Malice" CD, tentatively due out in August through Prosthetic Records. All recording for guitars, bass and drums for "Malice" is completed, so the band will meet up with producer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL) April 23 at Mana Studios in Florida to record vocals.

"We are extremely happy to have Nate on board with us as the new vocalist and frontman for TTEOTD," guitarist Justin Longshore previously said. "There's no doubt in my mind that Nate will deliver on 'Malice' as well as on tour. We'd like to thank everyone for their submissions that they sent us. There are some really killer vocalists out there and it was definitely a tough decision. Thanks to all of the fans for all of the support in this situation."
