THRESHOLD To Headline ROTHERHAM ROCKS; Band Cancels METALFEST Appearance

U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD will headline the opening day of Rotherham Rocks in Rotherham, England on May 8, 2009. Also scheduled to appear is KYRBGRINDER, the band fronted by THRESHOLD drummer Johanne James.

In other news, THRESHOLD has been forced to cancel its appearance at the Metalfest in Dudley, U.K. this September due to "unforeseen circumstances."

THRESHOLD guitarist Karl Groom is currently participating in a reunion tour of Europe with progressive rockers SHADOWLAND.

After signing with Nuclear Blast, THRESHOLD released its eighth studio album, "Dead Reckoning", in March 2007.
