THRESHOLD To Headline First-Ever PROGPOWER SCANDINAVIA Festival

April 2, 2007

Following the success of the ProgPower brand in Europe, the U.K. and U.S., the first-ever ProgPower Scandinavia will be staged on November 9-10 with U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD co-headlining the first night. The festival will take place in Denmark, with other confirmed bands so far including MERCENARY, CIRCUS MAXIMUS and ANDROMEDA. THRESHOLD will also perform at this year's sold-out ProgPower USA on October 5-6 alongside such bands as SONATA ARCTICA and AFTER FOREVER. THRESHOLD has previously performed at all three of the Europe, U.K. and U.S. ProgPower festivals.

In other news, THRESHOLD has been confirmed as the headliner of the CRS Autumn Rokfest in the U.K. on November 3. This will be a unique night for THRESHOLD fans because the bill also includes KYRBGRINDER, featuring THRESHOLD's drummer Johanne James, and SOLIOQUY, which includes THRESHOLD's new live second guitarist Pete Morten.

THRESHOLD's new album, "Dead Reckoning", was released last week through Nuclear Blast Records. The band's video for the track "Pilot in the Sky of Dreams" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The song has been edited by producers/bandmembers Karl Groom and Richard West at Thin Ice Studios down from a length of 9:44 to just under 4 minutes for the video version. The video was shot in Leipzig, Germany with producer Film-M, whose previous credits include DISILLUSION, AMON AMARTH, DEW-SCENTED and DEADSOUL TRIBE.
