THORNS OF THE CARRION Reunite, Begin Work On New Album

After disbanding in 2002, U.S. funeral doom metal band THORNS OF THE CARRION have returned with a new lineup featuring founding member/guitarist Allen Scott, original vocalist Matt Chapman, Chris Dalcin on drums (ELUSIVE TRAVEL, FLEDGLING DEATH, ...AND HERE I LIE), Rinaldo Yulfo III on keyboards, and Adam Holliday on bass. The band are currently recording pre-production demos for a one-song, one-hour-long album entitled "The Waking Dirge", and gearing up for the Templars of Doom festival on July8-9 in Indianapolis, IN.
