THESYRE: New Album Mixed And Mastered

December 31, 2008

Vocalist/bassist Eric M. Syre of Quebec-based black/thrash metallers THESYRE has issued the following update:

"The next THESYRE album, 'Résistance', is finally mixed and will be mastered this week. The artwork is done. It should come out in the first half of 2009 on Osmose Productions. Samples are coming up.

"I am planning to record an album's worth of cover songs in solo. I already have a profile on ReverbNation where you can listen to four of the songs I already covered/remixed.

"I contributed vocals once again to a N.K.V.D. song, which should be featured on their upcoming album.

"I also did an instrumental interlude to the new BLOODLINE album ('Hate Procession') which should be out early in 2009 on Blut & Eisen Records. I shall also handle the layout of the LP version of the album.

"There should be a new ABYSSIC HATE album released in 2009 on No Colors Records and I was given the task to contribute the artwork and layout for it. I already did the cover which was used on t-shirts released by Darker Than Black Records.

"Two other bands/projects are also in the works right now, one in a doom metal vein and the other being very old-school-minded. More news to come..."

Syre previously stated that "Résistance" would "blend older, current and newer elements for THESYRE, eventually making it our most accomplished work yet."

THESYRE's third album, "Exist!", was released in 2006 via Osmose Productions.
