THE WAKE Name New Album

July 12, 2005

Finnish melodic death metallers THE WAKE have set "Death-A-Holic" as the title of their second full-length album, due on October 24 via Spinefarm Records.

The follow-up to 2003's "Ode To My Misery" was recorded at Studio Mega in Sweden and includes 10 tracks. "We are very pleased with the great attacking and harsh sounds of the new album and think that it fits our music perfectly," the band write on their web site. Photos from the recording studio can be found at this location.

THE WAKE's full-length debut was recorded and mixed between May and June 2003 at SundiCoop Studio in Savonlinna with Tuomo Valtonen. Mastering duties were handled at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki by Mika Jussila.
