THE SWORD Named Billboard 2006 'Artist To Watch'

Kemado Records recording artists THE SWORD have been named one of Billboard magazine's 2006 "Artists to Watch". The dynamic Austin, Texas-based quartet are part of Billboard's just-announced list in the publication's January 7, 2006 issue. THE SWORD appear amongst a Billboard hot list of artists "expected to explode at any moment" that also includes CHRISTIAN SCOTT, NE-YO, JEREMIAS, MYLO, ANJA HARTEROS, TEDDY GEIGER, DECEMBERADIO, ARTIC MONKEYS and SHANNON BROWN. THE SWORD's debut album, "Age of Winters", will be released via Kemado on February 14 and the band will launch a six-week U.S. tour in support of the release beginning February 1 in Philadelphia, PA. The song "Iron Swan" has been posted online and can be previewed at this location.
