THE ROTTED: 'Anarchogram' EP Details Revealed

June 8, 2010

U.K. punk-infused death metallers THE ROTTED entered the studio in May with producer James Dunkley to begin recording "Anarchogram", a self-released EP consisting of two new tracks and four bonus cuts.

Commented the band: "This is an entirely self-funded, self-released EP, and we wanted to keep it as low-price as possible as a thanks to all the good people that have supported us over the years! This is why we're also offering a special offer package deal when you buy the EP and new shirt featuring the artwork, as well as signed copies and free postcards to any orders received prior to the release date! Check our site for more info.

"'Anarchogram' features two blistering new tracks of hate-filled, punk-infused U.K. death metal, as well as four cover songs. Each band member has chosen a song that made them personally want to play this kind of music in the first place, and is our way of paying tribute to the metal gods that have inspired us!

"In support of this release, we will be hitting the UK for a co-headlining tour with Scottish brutal death metallers MAN MUST DIE, with support coming from raging northern thrashers SWORN AMONGST."

"Anarchogram" track listing:

01. Drink Myself To Death
02. Dawn Of A New Error
03. Iron Fist (MOTÖRHEAD)
04. Propaganda (SEPULTURA)
05. Deathcrush (MAYHEM)
06. Out Of Hand (ENTOMBED)

After the release of the EP this summer, THE ROTTED will resume work on its new full-length album. The band plans to enter Parlour Studio in January 2011 with Russ Russell at the production helm.
