THE RED CHORD Continue Drummer Search

Massachusetts-based metal/grind band THE RED CHORD have issued the following update regarding their drummer search:

"We have been busy writing and trying people out for drums. We have had a few options of having people fill in for the record, but we all decided that it would be a better idea if the band searched a bit more for the drummer that will be a part of THE RED CHORD. We don't want to be held back from touring after or even before the record comes out. We want to be able to tour as soon as possible right after the record is recorded. Stay tuned...

"We have gotten many, many replies for our drumming position. We have been getting multiple e-mails from the same people asking us if they can try out. Don't keep e-mailing us, we will e-mail you back. We appreciate all the people who are willing to change their lives for this band. We listen to every audio link, CD, video, etc from every applicant. I know it gets frustrating, but we will be picking and choosing the applicants we think have potential. Thank you."

As previously reported, THE RED CHORD are scheduled to record their sophomore full-length album, "Clients", at Planet Z studios in Hadley, MA with producer Zeuss (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL). The follow-up to 2002's "Fused Together in Revolving Doors" (Robotic Empire) is due for release next spring via Metal Blade/Blackmarket Activities Records.
