THE QUILL To Perform With Swedish String Orchestra

March 31, 2005

On May 20, THE QUILL will put on a one-night-only show in Mönsterås, Sweden. The band will perform together with Camerata Nordica, a 11-piece powerful string orchestra. The show will consist of THE QUILL songs flavored with string arrangements.

THE QUILL, who feature in their ranks current SPIRITUAL BEGGARS/ex-FIREBIRD bassist Roger Nilsson and ex-FIREBIRD drummer Jolle Atlagic, recently completed a three-song demo containing the tracks "Whole", "In the Shadows I Belong" and "Howl At the Moon".

THE QUILL's fourth album, entitled "Hooray! It's a Deathtrip", was released in September 2003 through SPV Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Voodoo Caravan" was produced by Rickard Bengtsson (SPIRITUAL BEGGARS) and mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH).
