THE PROJECT HATE: New Album Update

November 26, 2004

THE PROJECT HATE, the Swedish band featuring Jörgen Sandström of ENTOMBED/GRAVE fame on lead vocals, are scheduled to enter the studio in February to begin recording their fourth studio album, tentatively due next summer via Threeman Recordings. An update on the songwriting sessions from guitarist Lord K (a.k.a. Kenth Philipson) follows:

"There we go, I just completed the lyrics for the 6th demoed track and sorted where J [Jörgen] and Jo shall sing. It turned out fucken killer to say the least. I have written enough stuff lyric-wise for another 3 or 4 tracks as well as webmaster Statik's been contributing some good shit we might end up using here and there. I definitely love the way the lyrics turned out this time and I'm suprised it went so well to write the shit since I left that to J on the last album, pretty much anyways.

"I still need to put down the guitars for the 7th track on my 4-tracker, I just have been lazy to do it, [to] be honest. And so has Mazza. The tune is completed and all, and have been for like a month, we just need to take the time to record the shit.

"We have some ideas for the 8th and final track as well and I know Mazza's got some killer riffage lined-up for that one. We still have 2 fucken months until the recording so everything feels fucken excellent knowing all lyrics are done as well as most of the titles. There are around 3 titles as for now that we wanna use for the album title, we'll see what we end up with in the end.

"We have booked 17 days for the recording, starting on February 4th. Shit's taking form now to say the least."
