THE PANIC CHANNEL To Headline XBOX LIVE Session At E3

Billboard.com is reporting that THE PANIC CHANNEL — the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs — will headline a "live" Xbox Live session May 11 at E3, the video/computer game industry's annual showcase at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In their first major media exposure, the band will perform material from their upcoming Capitol debut, "(ON)e", and compete against fans in the new Xbox 360 "Project Gotham Racing 3" game.

"We'll be ready to take on our fans via Xbox Live," guitarist Dave Navarro said. "We're huge gamers and are really looking forward to E3." Also set for E3 appearances in separate Xbox Live sessions are METHOD MAN (playing the Xbox 360 game "NBA 2K6") and former Playboy playmate Jenny McCarthy.

The show appearances are an on-site creation of the Game With Fame program that kicked off two years ago, featuring top artists, athletes and celebrities playing their fans on the Xbox Live online system.

THE PANIC CHANNEL's debut album, "(ONe)", is scheduled for release on September 12. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham, whose resume includes such multi-platinum artists as KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT and VELVET REVOLVER, among others. Mixing duties were handled by Ryan Williams, who has previously worked with veteran producer Brendan O'Brien.
