THE PANIC CHANNEL: 'Teahouse Of The Spirits' Video Posted Online

September 16, 2006

A new THE PANIC CHANNEL video for the song "Teahouse of the Spirits" has been posted online at Yahoo! Music. "It was shot while we were out on tour last spring," guitarist Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) explained. "The live footage is primarily from New York and L.A., with some rehearsal space stuff as well."

As previously reported, THE PANIC CHANNEL — the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs — will support the reality-TV group formerly known as SUPERNOVA (the new all-star band featuring ex-METALLICA bassist Jason Newsted, MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee and former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke) on their North American tour in January/February 2007. A complete list of tour dates can be found at this location. THE PANIC CHANNEL is also preparing a smaller tour that will tentatively kick off around October 20.

THE PANIC CHANNEL's debut album, "(ONe)", sold more than 8,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 108 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham, whose resume includes such multi-platinum artists as KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT and VELVET REVOLVER, among others. Mixing duties were handled by Ryan Williams, who has previously worked with veteran producer Brendan O'Brien.
