THE NEW BLACK Taps JACOB HANSEN For New Album Mix

German heavy rockers THE NEW BLACK are preparing to enter Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, PRETTY MAIDS, AMARANTHE, RAUNCHY) to begin mixing their third album for an early 2013 release via AFM Records.

THE NEW BLACK will embark on the "Rock N' Roll Overdose" tour of Germany in April with PSYCHOPUNCH, MOTORJESUS, '77 and SUPERCHARGER.

The band's sophomore CD, "II: Better In Black", came out in January 2011 in Europe via AFM.

THE NEW BLACK's music was previously described as "BLACK LABEL SOCIETY inviting the NICKELBACK guy over for some THIN LIZZY covers, all dressed in PANTERA shirts."
