THE NEW BLACK Signs With AFM RECORDS

November 20, 2008

THE NEW BLACK, the German band featuring members of SINNER, RUNAMOK, ABANDONED and MCF, has inked a deal with AFM Records. The group's self-titled debut album will be made available in Germany on January 23, 2009 and three days later in the rest of Europe. A North American release is expected later in 2009. The band says, "Expect all the good stuff you may have heard on MySpace or even live, fully produced, with riffs, hooks and leads for days. 12 songs of real rock, baby, 14 on the limited edition!"

THE NEW BLACK's music is being described as "BLACK LABEL SOCIETY inviting the NICKELBACK guy over for some THIN LIZZY covers." Several songs that are set to appear on the debut album can be streamed on the group's MySpace page.

THE NEW BLACK is:

Fludid (Vocals)
Christof "Leimsen" Leim (Guitar)
Fabian "Fabs" Schwarz (Guitar)
Günt (Bass)
Chris Weiß (Drums)
