THE HELLACOPTERS Performs On Swedish TV; Video Available

Sweden's THE HELLACOPTERS the band fronted by former ENTOMBED drummer Nicke Andersson (on guitar/vocals) was the featured musical guest on the "Nyhetsmorgon" program on Sweden's TV4's on Thursday (March 20). Watch the band's performance at TV4.se:

THE HELLACOPTERS released a new single, "In The Sign Of The Octopus", on March 19 via Sound Pollution. The track listing is as follows:

THE HELLACOPTERS has inked a deal with Wild Kingdom/Sound Pollution for the European release of the group's final studio album, "Head Off". The CD, which was once again produced by Chips Kiesby (THE NOMADS, SATOR, THE TURPENTINES) and mixed by Henryk Lipp, will be issued in Europe on April 18. European festival appearances will follow during the summer, and a final headlining run will take place in the fall.

The band released a vinyl version of its new single, "The Same Lame Story", on August 10, 2007 via Bootleg Booze Records. The exclusive b-side is a cover of ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN's "It's All Moving Faster". The single is limited to 1,000 copies and is available on transparent red vinyl with black splatter. 200 copies come in a screenprinted cardboard box with an exclusive sticker only available to Bootleg Booze vinyl club members.

THE HELLACOPTERS' last album, "Rock & Roll Is Dead", was released in the U.S. in February 2006 via Liquor and Poker Music. The American version of the CD contained two bonus tracks not included on any other version of the recording, as well as bonus video clips for the singles "Everything's on T.V." (available for viewing below) and "I'm in the Band".
