THE HELLACOPTERS Outline Upcoming Activities

October 29, 2003

THE HELLACOPTERS drummer Robert Eriksson has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Here we are again, another tour over, this time Australia and I must say this one has been fantastic! A big THANKS goes out to all people involved, friends, bands including M-16'S, WARPED, TURBONEGRO among others, you know who you are! And of course everyone who came to our concerts!!!

"As for now we're concentrating on getting the second volume of 'Cream Of The Crap!' together, which will be done in November for a release in January 2004. There has been a slight delay (sorry about that!) and it's mainly because we couldn't find the master tapes to all the songs! But I tell you it's worth waiting for!!!

"Also coming out in November is a split 7" with THE NOMADS on Wild Kingdom Records (Stockholm). Both bands do 'Pack Of Lies' written by THE NOMADS. Our version is also gonna be on THE NOMADS tribute CD '20 Years Too Soon' out in November on Big Bongo Records/Wild Kingdom Records. Other bands included on the CD are THE DICTATORS, ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN, THE SEWERGROOVES, BOB HUND, SONS OF CYRUS etc. We also have a split 7" with ADAM WEST (again!) coming out on People Like You Records. 2 exclusive songs each. Will be out in December or January.

"Altogether we have, since the release of 'By the Grace of God', done 114 shows and now we have a few other things coming up so more touring will have to wait a while. In the meantime, Boba & Robert D. will be recording a new DIAMOND DOGS record and from late November up until January, Nick & Robert D. will be touring with Swedish singer/songwriter STEFAN SUNDSTRÖM playing drums and guitar respectively. Plus there will be some DJ-ing on various rock-clubs too! Later!"
