THE HELLACOPTERS Announce First U.S. Tour In Four Years

Sweden's THE HELLACOPTERS, who feature in their ranks former ENTOMBED drummer Nicke Andersson on guitar/vocals, have announced a three-week U.S. tour in March. "This will be our sixth U.S. tour since 1998 and the first one in almost four years," the band write on their web site. The dates are as follows:

As previously reported, THE HELLACOPTERS' acclaimed new album, "Rock & Roll Is Dead", will receive a U.S. release on February 7 via Liquor and Poker Music. It will contain two bonus tracks not included on any other version of the recording, as well as bonus video clips for the singles "Everything's On T.V." and "I'm in the Band". An MP3 of the latter is currently available for download at their U.S. label's web site, www.liquorandpokermusic.com.

HELLACOPTERS have once again been nominated for a Swedish Grammy award, this time for "Best Rock Group of the Year". They'll compete against KENT, THE CARDIGANS, THE SOUNDTRACK TO OUR LIVES and THE ARK. The Swedish Grammy ceremony will take place in Stockholm on February 7.
