THE GATHERING Set Release Date For "Black Light District"

Holland's THE GATHERING will issue their brand new mini-CD, entitled Black Light District, on September 16th via their own Psychonaut Records. According to drummer Hans Rutten, "we are still busy (will it ever stop :o) finishing our new full length, which will be released early 2003. Due to some touring we will do in August and October/November, the full-length, still without a title, is postponed again. Ow delay,... sorry... But it will be worth waiting. Ok... Let's pack our bags for some live action now..."

In other news, the singing class that THE GATHERING frontwoman Anneke van Giersbergen was supposed to teach on August 18th at JC Todo in Best, Netherlands has been cancelled. Anneke and the rest of THE GATHERING are playing at a festival in Greece that weekend.
