September 8, 2003

Live video footage of THE GATHERING performing the track "Even The Spirits Are Afraid" on April 30, 2003 on the Dutch radio program "Club Lek" has been posted online in Real Media at this location. Additional audio of the band's performance on the show can be heard here.

As previously reported, THE GATHERING are planning a vinyl release of their latest CD, "Souvenirs". The LP will be issued under license by The End Records as a two-vinyl gatefold release and will include the lyrics. It will be pressed on very heavy-type vinyl (230 gr),which will make it the best quality possible. An October release is expected. THE GATHERING will also be issuing a new EP called "Monsters", featuring a radio edit of the title cut (originally featured on the "Souvenirs" album),an extended promo-CD version of the song, plus three "cool" remixes. As an added bonus, the fans will be treated to over 30 minutes of unique CD-video live recordings from two German shows filmed during the European spring tour, as well as an English-language TV interview with THE GATHERING frontwoman Anneke van Giersbergen, originally broadcast on the German TV station RCN.

Upcoming THE GATHERING tour dates:

Sep. 13 – "Amsterdam Calling" Showcase - Manchester - UK
Sep. 14 - Raismes Festival – (near) Valenciennes, FRA
Sep. 27 - Herbstnächte V Festival - Burg Rabenstein, GER
