THE FREEZING FOG Signs With DENTAL RECORDS

January 2, 2008

Manchester, UK-based "classic rockers" THE FREEZING FOG have inked a deal with Sweden's Dental Records. The group's debut album, "March Forth To Victory", which was made available in the UK last year, will be released in the rest of Europe in early 2008. The CD will come in a luxurious digipack with bonus tracks. Dental will also release THE FREEZING FOG's follow-up to "March Forth To Victory" in late 2008, with recording planned for the summer.

"March Forth To Victory" was recorded at GodCity studios in Massachusetts with producer Kurt Ballou (of CONVERGE fame). The CD was mastered at New Alliance East in Boston by Nick Zampiello.

According to a press release, "'March Forth...' is a modern classic, fusing the dark grooves of SABBATH with the upbeat rock-chops of PURPLE, and finished off with sprinklings of contemporary hard rock ala MASTODON or NEUROSIS. It is infused with an evident knowledge of how to craft a catchy song, the FOG's most coveted trademark."

In other news, THE FREEZING FOG has recorded its side of a planned split 12" / double 3" CD with MANATEES. A March release is expected.
