THE FACELESS Announces Headlining Tour

September 6, 2008

Los Angeles-based technical metal wizards THE FACELESS have announced a month-long headlining tour kicking off on October 17 to promote their new album, "Planetary Duality", due out November 11 on Sumerian Records. Support on the Planetary Duality Tour will come from ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, DECREPIT BIRTH, VEIL OF MAYA, and NEURAXIS.

Commented THE FACELESS guitarist Michael Keene: "In the event that you actually have the power to choose the bands that you're going to tour with, there are a lot of elements to take into account. For us the most important things were if we liked the band, will fans of that band like what we’re doing, and are they are a band that we can share our fans with. We were really happy with how this tour shaped out."

The Planetary Duality Tour, sponsored by Hot Topic, will be THE FACELESS' first major-market headlining tour. "It's a completely different dynamic headlining, but it's something that we really enjoy," Keene said. "We get to play a longer set, not only playing more of the fans favorites but more of our own personal favorites at the same time."
