According to a press release, "THE EYES OF A TRAITOR came together in the summer of 2006. Finding their feet and own sound; the band take influences from a wide variety or artists, ranging from to the melodic sensibilities of bands such a MISERY SIGNALS, to the technicality of heavier bands such as NECROPHAGIST, fusing together to create something unexpected from a band with an average age of 17.

"Let age be no boundary; After the bands first mini-CD 'By Sunset' released by UK label Thirty Days of Night Records, that has been home of GALLOWS and BRING ME THE HORIZON, THE EYES OF A TRAITOR have had three UK tours and one European tour in the pipeline, high merchandise sales and are tipped as one of the most talented bands in the UK scene."
