THE END Parts Ways With Guitarist

October 16, 2007

Canadian metallers THE END have issued the following update:

"Unfortunately we have some sad news for you. Andrew Hercules [guitar] has decided to leave the band. We all wish him the best in his future endeavors. Due to this development we will need to immediately cancel the rest of the dates with BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. We'll head home after the Seattle show and sort out how we will bring out the rock on our tours with GWAR and CHIMAIRA.

"We apologize to anyone that had planned on attending our shows, we appreciate your support, and we will be back as soon as possible. We would also like to apologize and thank BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, HORSE THE BAND, and ANIMOSITY. Everyone on the tour has been great. We wish you all the best of luck through the rest of the tour. Another great band, GIANT, will be taking our place. Please make sure you get to the show in time to check them out, you will not regret it."

"Throwing Stones", the first video from THE END's acclaimed new album "Elementary", was shot in Toronto, ON with director Jeff Schevin for Soft Citizen (TV ON THE RADIO, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979, ALEXISONFIRE, CONTROLLER.CONTROLLER) and producer Dallas Dyer. Watch it below.
