THE DARKNESS: Wheels Stolen From JUSTIN HAWKINS' Jag

August 5, 2004

Britain's The Sun is reporting that THE DARKNESS frontman Justin Hawkins awoke on Wednesday morning (August 4) to see his Jaguar XK8 up on bricks, the wheels and tires stolen. "I suppose bricks are perfectly adequate if you just want to park but the wheels are rather essential for driving," he joked. "I can't help feeling they've gone to fuel someone's crack addiction. I'm really gutted. I feel like weeping."

Justin — who is scheduled to headline the Leeds/Reading Festival with the band this month — wants the original wheels back. "They are worth a lot of money," he said. "I'm willing to offer a very generous reward for any information. Otherwise I won't be able to do my shopping." Check out a picture at this location.
