THE DARKNESS Debut Release Pushed Forward

In the week that THE DARKNESS' "Permission To Land" has gone to No. 1 for the first time in the U.K., Atlantic Records has bumped up the Stateside release of the album from early next year to later this month. The throwback hard rock band's debut will now hit U.S. stores on September 16. The release will tie in with THE DARKNESS' headlining appearances at New York's Bowery Ballroom (September 18),Toronto's Lee's Palace (20) and Los Angeles' Roxy (22).
