THE CROWN's MARKO TERVONEN Vows To Carry On Following Singer Departure

June 10, 2002

THE CROWN guitarist Marko Tervonen has vowed to carry on with the group despite the band's recent split with frontman Tomas Lindberg (ex-AT THE GATES). "We have definitely not decided to call it a day," Tervonen told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "THE CROWN has been been a big part of our lives since 12 years back, [and] it's not easy to just switch the band life/thinking off, you know. I still feel as a songwriter that I have a lot to contribute to the metal scene, and I know [bassist] Magnus [Olsfelt] feels the same way. Hopefully we CAN find a new singer. Finding a good singer is not easy. And finding a good singer with the right attitude and chemistry is even more difficult. But the hunt is definitely on... This may take some time though, we're not gonna rush into this."
