THE CLEANSING: Change Of Plans

September 20, 2008

THE CLEANSING, the new Danish band featuring former members of USIPIAN, has issued the following update:

"Unfortunately, Toke [Eld, vocals] is not able to re-record the vocals for 'Poisoned Legacy' as we hoped. For some time now, he has been having problems with his voice and is therefore in no condition to record an entire album. That means the album will remain with Martin [Rosendahl, bass] behind the microphone. Hopefully Toke will be back in shape to play some live shows in the very near future — and of course to record the next THE CLEANSING album! Right now we are working on the artwork for 'Poisoned Legacy', which we of course will reveal for you as soon as it is finished. We REALLY hope we can give you a release date very soon — so be patient!"

The projected track listing for the album is as follows:

01. Architechtural Infinity
02. Flesh Recycled
03. Ghost Lights
04. Insects in the Void
05. Harnessed by the Shadows
06. The Prodigal Son
07. Deliverance
08. The Domino of Phantom Effects
09. Derelict
10. Awoken at Gunpoint

Check out the songs "Architectural Infinity" and "Insects in the Void" on the band's MYSpace page.

THE CLEANSING is:

Toke Eld: Vocals
Jeppe Hasseriis: Guitar
Andreas Lynge: Guitar
Martin Rosendahl: Bass
Morten Løwe: Drums
