June 7, 2005

Vancouver, Canada's THE BLACK HALOS will release their new full-length album, "Alive Without Control", on June 28 via Liquor and Poker Music. The long-awaited CD will be supported with national tour dates to be announced shortly. Radio promotion and marketing are being handled in-house. The label is distributed through Caroline.

"Alive Without Control" was produced by Jack Endino, whose credits include both of the previous HALOS' albums and of course NIRVANA's "Bleach" as well as various EPs and albums for SOUNDGARDEN, MUDHONEY, TAD, SCREAMING TREES, BLUE CHEER, DWARVES, L7, SUPERSUCKERS, ZEKE, NEBULA, ZEN GUERRILLA and many other notable artists and bands. "Jack Endino has become like the sixth HALO and has truly captured our twisted vision so we can unleash it on an unsuspecting world," enthused frontman Billy Hopeless about the production.

The album was recorded at Soundhouse Studios and Hanzsek Studios in Seattle, WA in February of this year.
