THE AGONIST Kicks Off North American Tour With ENSLAVED And ARSIS

November 8, 2007

Montreal's hottest new export THE AGONIST recently embarked on a massive month-long North American trek alongside ENSLAVED and ARSIS. The group just completed lengthy treks as direct support to SONATA ARCTICA and OVERKILL, further proving that their commanding and intense live performance can win over any crowd. They are quickly becoming one of the most talked about new artists within the genre due primarily to their unrelenting touring and vocalist Alissa White-Gluz's stunning presence. Look for them on tour through the end of the year.

White-Gluz states: "After a brief but deserved week off back home in Montreal, THE AGONIST is back out on the road. We are hitting up some familiar venues and happily seeing several familiar faces in the crowds. This time around, we are on the road with ENSLAVED and fellow support band ARSIS. I must say, ENSLAVED is definitely surprisingly fun-loving and friendly for what you would expect of a Norwegian black metal band! We have a good time goofing off with ARSIS before and after every show, and we really enjoy watching each band's set every night.

"We are looking forward to revisiting a lot of the places we played with SONATA ARCTICA. Hope to see everyone in the next few weeks. Remember, this is the last time we are touring for a while, so better catch up with us now."
