THE ACACIA STRAIN To Play Three Shows In New Zealand In December

According to Undertheradar.co.nz, Massachusetts heavyweights of metalcore THE ACACIA STRAIN and Florida's A DAY TO REMEMBER will hit New Zealand shores in December for a short but fierce tour before moving on to Australia to share the stage with PARKWAY DRIVE. Australia's WITH A CAUSE TO UNITE is also on the bill.

The dates are as follows:

Dec. 04 - Whammy Bar - Auckland
Dec. 05 - Bodega - Wellington
Dec. 06 - Ellen Melville Hall - Auckland

Last month, THE ACACIA STRAIN filmed a video for the song "Skynet", off its new release "Continent". The clip was shot and directed by David Brodsky (UNEARTH, THE BLACK DAHLIA MUDER, WHITECHAPEL) and his crew at MyGoodEye in Springfield, Massachusetts.

THE ACACIA STRAIN sold almost 5,600 copies of its new album, "Continent", in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 107 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD debuted at No. 2 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
