THE ACACIA STRAIN Prepares For MONSTERS OF MAYHEM 2 Tour

May 15, 2007

Massachusetts' THE ACACIA STRAIN is currently gearing up for a busy summer, including a slot on this year's Sounds of the Underground tour and an impending jaunt as a part of HATEBREED's Monsters of Mayhem 2 Tour. "We couldn't be more excited about this tour," frontman Vincent Bennett says. "The dudes in HATEBREED are nicest guys ever, we really got to know them over in the U.K. We have wanted to tour with GOD FORBID and EVERGREEN TERRACE for a while now and can't wait to see what AFTER THE BURIAL has to offer. And, obviously, we can't wait to hit the road with TERROR again, we have been trying to hop on a tour with them since the last one. Everyone should expect the most from us. We have a lot of great bands to keep up with...shit is going to be intense." Also playing on the tour with HATEBREED and THE ACACIA STRAIN are GOD FORBID, EVERGREEN TERRACE, TERROR and AFTER THE BURIAL.

THE ACACIA STRAIN recently returned from the United Kingdom for the first time, offering direct support to HATEBREED. Currently at home in Massachusetts, the band continues to support the band's 2006 release "The Dead Walk", which was recorded with producer Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) and showcases in-depth artwork from acclaimed artist Paul Romano (THE RED CHORD, MASTODON). The band's music video for "Angry Mob Justice", a track from "The Dead Walk", is available online here.
