THE 69 EYES To Film 'Perfect Skin' Video

October 6, 2006

Finnish goth-metallers THE 69 EYES will film a video for their new single, "Perfect Skin", next week with director Ralf Strathmann (APOCALYPTICA, SOILWORK, CHILDREN OF BODOM) in the Los Angeles area. The song is the first single off the group's new album, "Angels", which was recently recorded at Helsinki Underground Studios with producers Hiili Hiilesmaa and Johnny Lee Michaels.

THE 69 EYES' last album, "Devils", was released in the U.S. via 456 Entertainment. "Devils" was the fourth THE 69 EYES album to be certified gold in the group's native Finland (for sales in excess of 15,000 copies); the band had also received the same honor for their three previous albums: "Blessed Be", "Paris Kills" and "Framed In Blood - The Very Blessed Of…".

THE 69 EYES's appearance on NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly" — which was taped on March 23, 2006 — has been posted online at YouTube.com. The performance took place at the conclusion of the band's first-ever U.S. headlining tour, which featured DAMONE and PROGRAM THE DEAD in the support slots.
