THANATOSCHIZO: New Song Posted Online

February 14, 2008

Portuguese avant-garde maniacs THANATOSCHIZO have posted a new song, entitled "L" on their MySpace page. The track, which comes off the group's forthcoming fourth album, "Zoom Code", features a guest appearance by Timb Harris of ESTRADASPHERE/SECRET CHIEFS 3.

"Zoom Code" was produced by Luis Barros (TARANTULA) and was mastered by Tommy Newton (CONCEPTION, HELLOWEEN) and features an additional guest appearance by Svein Egil Hatlevik (ZWEIZZ, FLEURETY, ex-DØDHEIMSGARD). A March 21 release via My Kingdom Music is expected (one week earlier in Portugal through Recital Records).

"Zoom Code" (cover artwork) track listing:

01. Thick n' Blurry
02. L.
03. Hereafter Path
04. (Un)bearable Certainty
05. Pleasure Pursuit
06. The Shift
08. Pale Blue Perishes
09. Pervasive Healing
10. Nothing As it Seems
11. Awareness

Four studio-report videos can be viewed at the band's YouTube channel, where one can also find cool TV footage about metal that has aired on Portuguese TV since the early '90s.

THANATOSCHIZO will play a 10th-anniversary show on May 17 at the Liperske Festival in Santa Marta de Penaguião, Portugal. Also scheduled to appear are six other Portuguese acts: BEFORE THE RAIN, PITCH BLACK, THEE ORAKLE, LOSS SPECTRA OF PURE, DAEMOGORGON and PRIMORDIAL MELODY. The group will play a very special set featuring songs from all of its releases, including the 1999 EP "Melégnia".
